Décu par le debit

Bonjour à tous ,

Je suis face à un casse-tete ... . Je viens d'acheter le DS115j avec un WD RED  2TO .

Je suis tres déçu par le débit; je m'explique : Lorsque je branche mon ordinateur sur le cable ethernet, je  peux telecharger à 100 MO/S . Par contre lorsque je branche le NAS sur le meme cable ethernet, et que je telecharge un fichier (avec download station ou wget en ligne de commande) j'ai un debit plafonné à 20MO/s au mieux.

 

Je suis sur que ca vient du NAS et non du réseau à cause :

1-Du test que je viens de décrire précédemment.

2-De ce test la : copie d'un fichier du NAS vers lui meme avec FileStation  : La vitesse de copie est limitée à 20 mo/s

Est ce que quelqu'un saurait m"aider ? Est ce que mon disque dur serait incompatible ?

 

Remarque : le DD est neuf, jumbo désactivé .

Bonsoir,

Fais les tests suivants (le pc et le nas en ethernet sur un switch gigabit) :

  • pc vers nas en ftp (upload vers le nas)
  • nas vers pc en ftp (download depuis le pc)

Un DS115j devrait pouvoir faire plus de 60Mo/s en écriture (mon ancien DS107+ allait déjà à plus de 30mo/s avec des disques de l'époque), tu as peut être un soucis de disque.

Post aussi le résultat des commandes "ifconfig", "ip a" et "dmesg" (à faire en root)

Je viens de faire le test :

 

NAS -> MAC 60mo/s en moyenne

MAC->NAS 30mo/s  au mieux !

Les pièces jointes ne marchent pas sur le forum.

Refais le test de copie en ftp et regarde si le CPU grimpe, si oui, regarde quel est le process qui consomme :

  • avant de lancer le test, ouvre le moniteur de ressources du nas et clique sur processus
  • ne chiffre pas
  • pas d'antivirus actif (ni sur le pc, ni sur le nas)
  • envoi un gros fichier (un film par exemple)

Le ds115j est un des plus petits modèles, donc on ne doit pas s'attendre à des super perf, mais là c'est tout de même très lent en écriture.

Il faudrait voir ce que ça donne chez d'autres possesseurs de ce modèle.

Je viens de regarder quelques tests, ils indiquent tous des débits supérieurs à 60mo/s en écriture (sous réserve que le disque suive), ex : http://www.eteknix.com/synology-diskstation-ds115j-1-bay-nas-review/13/

Je viens de faire le test : le CPU tourne entre 50 et 70 % pdt le transfert . Pour info , meme quand je fais une copie d'un repertoire à un autre du NAS , c'est a dire sans passer par le réseau, je suis limité à 30 mo/s ce qui semble etre lent .

Sur un nas les copies locales sont toujours assez lentes par rapport aux copies réseau, surtout en mono disque/baie, ça n'a rien de choquant.

Il y a 2 heures, fazelus a dit :

Il faut copier 1 gros fichier, si ton dossier contient plein de petits fichiers, ça ne pourra jamais aller très vite (même sur un nas haut de gamme en ssd).

Par contre tu fais bien les copies depuis ton pc vers le disque du nas, pas vers le disques externe qui est branché dessus ?

Sinon rien à voir, mais tu devrais éviter de mettre ton nas en veille, ça fatigue les disques.

Tout les tests que j'ai fait c'est sur le transfert de 1 fichier ( 8 Go) et lorsque je parlais de repertoire je voulais dire copier le fichier d'un repertoire vers un autre.

Et c'est bien dans le disque du NAS et non un disque externe . 

 

Et c'est vraiment bizare car NAS->MAC est plus rapide que MAC->NAS sachant que je suis branché en ethernet et non wifi . Je pense vraiment que c'est un problème de config au niveau l'OS du NAS .  

J'hesite à aller rendre le NAS ...(je l'ai acheté Vendredi )

Je viens de faire un teste suplementaire : Je me connecte en ssh sur le NAS ensuite je me place sur le disque dur et je teste le debit d'ecriture comme suit :

On voit que la vitesse d'écriture max sur le disque est de 68MB/s .

 

Est ce que tu pourrais faire le test sur un de tes volumes et me retourner le resultat ?

Ce test c'est pas vraiment représentatif (tu passes bcp de temps à faire des aller-retour dans la ram), on va dire que c'est un minimum, chez moi j'ai environ 85MB/s.

Si tu tiens à faire un test plus représentatif, essaye ceci (>100MB/s chez moi) : dd if=/dev/zero of=output.img bs=32M count=40

Si tu cherches des performances, ce n'est pas avec l'entrée de gamme Syno que tu vas les avoir, donc tu devrais peut être y songer.
