La fonction Mode Home et l'intégration avec les interphones apportent plus de commodité aux utilisateurs particuliers. Avec encore plus d'améliorations telles que la prise en charge étendue de navigateur et l'accélération matérielle, les utilisateurs peuvent profiter d'une expérience de surveillance améliorée.

Compatibility and Installation

1. Surveillance Station 8.1.0 must be installed on Synology products running DSM 6.0-7321 and above.

2. Surveillance Station 8.1.0 added support for transaction devices, and each newly added transaction device requires purchasing 2 additional licenses and will be counted as surveillance devices, just like IP cameras, I/O modules, and AXIS Door Controller.

3. Surveillance Station 8.1.0 supports VisualStation 4.2-4327 and above.

4. Surveillance Station 8.1.0 supports Surveillance Station Client 1.1-0295 and above. (In this version, the GPU decoding function is provided on the Windows version to enhance video playing performance. )

What’s New

1. Introduced the new Archive Vault application to provide an advanced archiving remote recording function.

2. Introduced the new Home Mode application for users to set two different security settings in advanced, and switch between these two settings manually, via a schedule, or by Geofence.

3. Introduced the new Transactions application for simultaneously monitoring transaction details and videos.

4. Added support for viewing video preview, live view, recording playback, and timeline in Chrome. (Note that Chrome currently only supports up to a maximum of 16 video channels. It is also recommended to upgrade the display card driver to the newest version on the personal computer).

5. Added intercom camera integration for offering video surveillance, doorbell, door lock operation, two-way audio, and more functions.

6. Added the desktop widget feature for supporting the Client Management and Home Mode applications.

7. Added support for auto log out after an idle period to improve security.

8. Added support for setting the number of days to keep files in the Snapshot application.

9. Added support for giving spectators the privilege to set digital output.

10. Added support for CMS function in the archive settings tab of Log application.

11. Added support for pairing cameras and saving the triggered messages based on each port of the I/O module.

12. Added support for sorting and batch editing cardholders in the AXIS Door Controller application.

13. Added support for non-admin users to use the AXIS Door Controller application.

14. Added support for dynamic frame rate of AXIS camera models.

15. Enhanced the video and audio synchronization mechanism.

Fixed Issues

1. Fixed an issue where recordings may fail to be played due to the wrong video stream format from certain cameras.

2. Fixed an issue where the force time synchronization feature may not function properly when disabling NTP server of the camera.

3. Fixed an issue where the memory of the NAS may be over consumed when cameras use H.265 codec.

4. Fixed an issue where AXIS  Door Controller may fail to be added under certain settings.

5. Enhanced archive rotation mechanism to prevent the recording function from not functioning properly when the storage space has reached full capacity.

6. Fixed an issue where the recording file records may not be accessed when restarting the NAS after encrypting the camera folder on DSM.
