(October 1, 2007) Synology today announced a patch to enable Telnet access for its NAS products. In response to the massive requests, Synology offcially opens the doors for power users and system integrators to add their own solutions to Synology proucts. "It has been well known that Synology forum users have integrated Slim Server and many other Linux applications into Synology products." said Cheen Liao, President of Synology America Corp. "It took us a while to reach the decision of turning our 'unofficial' telnet support to be 'official'. Now power users and system integrators can integrate more Linux solutions into Synology platforms." More than a sold-as-it-is NAS, Synology Products are now platforms for extending your digital life.
