Taipei, Taiwan—January 22, 2009—Synology® America Corporation today announced that InfoWorld, a leading publisher of technology information and reviews, has awarded Synology's Cube Station CS407 the coveted "2009 Technology of the Year" award. Only 12 products were given this prestigious award in the System and Storage category, and Synology was the only NAS server manufacturer to win, sharing the stage with Apple, Dell, HP, and other top tier brands. InfoWorld Senior Contributing Editor Paul Venezia calls the CS407 a "Sweet Low-End NAS" and a "really hip little box," and was impressed by the rich feature set, economical price point, and openness of the Synology design, saying it was "as open as if you built it yourself – but you didn't have to."
