It would be useful to be able to define how files and folders are renamed.

For example:

%1 - Create Alpha Folder

%G - Genre (only first)
%S - Movie Source
%N - MovieSet
%P - Premiered Date
%R - Rating
%M - Mpaa Cert
%L - Runtime length
%V - Video Resolution
%C - Video Codec
%A - Audio Codec + Ch
%0 - Audio Channels
%F(format) - Folder size format e.g 00.00

you meen that you would like to choose how to rename your file? I'm thinking about something like that, but it would need to rewrite almost completely the naming code part.

not sure I'm willing to do that now. for information, synology is working on a new media app that will include something like video station. depending on the next application, I will make video renamer evolve or migrate as a plex plugin.
