Sauf que je ne peux pas l'initialisé via DSM, je ne le vois pas via fdisk -l et j'ai cela dans /var/log/messages... disque ou contrôleur d'après-vous?

Panne au déballage sans doute.

Faites un test sur un pc avec le logiciel du constructeur. De toute manière, il vous le demandera avant d'accepter le retour.
