Quelqu'un m'a fourni des renseignements et ce NAS BeeStation 4 Tb ne me conviendra pas pour mon usage. Voir des infos (en anglais) sur XDA et Techradar. Je ne sais pas comment clôturer ce sujet mais je le considère comme résolu.

Merci @PiwiLAbruti pour cette information. J'utilisais les serveurs FDN et je ne savais pas qu'ils n'étaient plus accessibles en clair. Ca explique les lenteurs que j'observais parfois dans la résolution des URL. J'ai ajouté une note dans le tuto de @Fenrir sur le serveur DNS.

Bonjour, Je possède depuis pas mal d'années un NAS WD MyCloud 2Tb qui me permet (entre autres) de regarder des vidéos sur mon Smart TV en réseau. Ce NAS est maintenant obsolète depuis quelques temps depuis l'arrivée de Windows 11. Vous aurez compris que je ne suis pas un pro des NAS et j'aimerais acheter un NAS BeeStation 4Tb (Synology). Ma question essentielle: est-il possible d'utiliser ce NAS BeeStation 4Tb (et non le BeeStation Plus de 8Tb) pour y stocker (entre autres) des vidéos que je pourrais regarder à partir de mon Smart TV Philips 32PFL4258/H12 (acheter en 2014) qui est en réseau filaire Cat 6 ? Merci d'avance pour vos réponses.

Si tu souhaites utiliser des serveurs DNS en clair, il n'est plus possible d'utiliser ceux de FDN qui sont réservés à leurs adhérents. N'importe quel autre service DNS accessible en clair (udp/53) fonctionnera.

Donc si je comprend bien @PiwiLAbruti Je dois remplacer les deux adresse Ip du serveur DNS issue de FDN par ceux de dns.sb par exemple

Le seul moyen c'est de passer par un terminal. Il faut que SSH soit autorisé dans DSM (port 22). Vous installez PuTTY si PC windows, vous le lancez et vous vous connectez à l'IP du NAS, login et mot de passe, ceux de votre compte administrateur. Vous lancez cette commande : sudo du -sh /volume1/*Vous donnez le mot de passe administrateur pour pouvoir lancer la commande. c'est long, mais vous aurez la liste de tous les dossiers contenus dans le volume 1 et leurs tailles.

Les serveurs FDN ne sont plus accessibles en clair, c'est décrit dans renforcement des protections des serveurs DNS récursifs ouverts de FDN sur le lien que tu as donné. Les serveurs ne répondent que sur DoT ou DoH pour les personnes externes au réseau FDN.

Merci pour les précisions idem drive à un dossier caché, en plus de version que tu peux avoir avec cette apply. Il faut savoir que par défaut il gardes 99 version d'un fichiers donc cela prend de l espace disque au final. tu peux changer cette valeur dans les option de celui-ci ( je ne souviens pas si c'est su le client ou le serveur) laisse le s'il te gène pas, si tu le supprime, tu pourrais être embête le jour ou tu vaudra t'en servir. tu es sur de ne pas avoir un paquet active backup ? Tu ne peux les voir qu'ne ligne de commande en passant par le terminal. Et en aucun cas il ne faut les supprimer. Si tu ne veux pas avoir de problème. Pour réduire la taille des données occupées sur les disques, tu peux arrêter de partager certain fichier au travers du paquet Download station. Dans drive modifie le nombre de versions que tu veux garder; passage de 99 à10 par exemple.

Bonjour @firlin, J'ai oublié de préciser que j'utilise "Synology Drive Client" en synchronisation unidirectionnel pour avoir en miroir les dossiers de mon ordinateur que je souhaite sauvegarder. A priori le paquet activebackupforBusiness n'est pas installé. Il figure à installer dans le centre de paquet. Pourrait-on supprimer le dossier ? Concernant les dossiers cachés, comment les rendre visibles ?

Petit retour sur mon problème avec le certificat, il s'avère que j'avais un souci de serveur DNS au niveau de la box. Pour faire simple j'ai bloqué la box ce week-end j'ai du appeler l'assistance pour qu'il me reset toute la partie Dns et DHCP de celle-ci Depuis cela refonctionne. Par contre sur mes nas j'ai mis les DNS issue du tutos DNS serveur https://www.fdn.fr/actions/dns/

Il est aussi possible d'utiliser un seul dossier partagé contenant tous les dossiers avec les bons droits à sa racine.

Bonjour @rabali , Ton calcul est en patie faux car pour certain dossier il existe une copie e celui-ci caché sur le volume en @non du dossier. Exemple pour le téléchargement tu as le dossier en question et ca copie caché dans ton cas 15.98Go x2 Pour se faire une idée il faudrait savoir quels paquet tu as installé. Autre point si tu as un dossier activebackupforBusiness c'est que tu as installé le paquet, t en sers tu ? car normalement il n'est pas à zero

merci pour tous ces infos, pour rien vous cacher je commence, un peux, a en avoir asse de syno, déjà le coup "avorter" de limiter les disques utilisable, et un service clientèle pas toujours très clair... c'est pourtant la seul chose qui permetrai/justifirai la différence de tarif avec les solution "bon marché". chez mes clients, ces mon principal levier pour les diriger vers du matériel chère, mais où la hotline/le support client est réactif clair et efficace... (après sur le bas de gamme c'est moi qui me fait ch..r avec les soucis... sic) j'ai en mémoire le retour d'une marque de cameras de surveillance certes hors de prix, mais qui m'a répondut efficacement dans les 4hrs ouvrées sur un problème que je rencontrée chez un de mes clients, sur du matériel de presque 10 ans... pour la petite épicerie du coin cela ne ce justifie pas, mais chez le propriétaire d'un villa hors de prix et un peut parano ou sur un "service" sensible niveau secu... "priceless" perso c'est jamais que ma "4em" génération de nas, depuis le vieux "grille pain" qui m'a fait boycotter netgear, a force qu'il me grille plus de disque "que de pain" et ou le service client étais en dessous de tous, le LaCie/Wanadoo lâchement abandonner par leur créateurs, avec des kilos de data bloquer dedans, et le "je sais plus quoi", racheter par lenovo, qui régulièrement planter et perdait les datas... j’espérais enfin être tranquille avec syno, mais même si les problèmes son moins grave, il y en a aussi... je vais finir par ressortir un de mes vieux serveur proliant et me faire une soluce "maison"... j'utilise aussi "pas mal" de Qnap mais pour "faire" des "stockeurs" de vidéosurveillance pour certain de mes clients qui son ok pour mestre le budget pour éviter les soluce dahua/hik, mais j’avoue ne jamais avoir trop essayer de les utiliser en stockeur de data.. .mais en vidéosurveillance, stable efficace, propre, souple et SOLIDE, (sur l'un, j'ai eu plus de 10 000 tentative d'intrusion sans une seule qui soit passée) ... faudrait qu'j'm'en prenne un perso pour le tordre et voir ce qu'ils valent a l'usage "exigeant"

On me donne une occupation de 11.8To (75%) ! C'est là que je ne comprends pas..... J'ai fait le total d'occupation réelle et cela me donne 5.4To environ. Pourquoi ? Où sont les To manquants ? Oui, mais avec cette version, lors du mappage disque réseau, ce ne serait pas D_Com qui apparaîtrait mais RGPD, donc là ce serait trop compliqué pour les autres... Si vous avez une autre suggestion, je suis preneuse, car désespérée...

Oui, c'est possible, mais personnellement, je trouve cela très casse-tête à gérer à long terme. Dans le cas que vous présentez, je mettrai le dossier RGPD au même niveau que D_COM (donc en "racine") et je créerai un groupe "RGPD". Les utilisateurs User_Accueil et User_Com serait alors membres du groupe RGPD.

Je suis d'accord que synology devraient être plus explicites sur les limitations entre NAS de générations différentes. Ils parlent bien de migrations de volume > 16To qui doivent se faire vers des modèles pouvant gérer des volumes > 16To. On peut bien entendu migrer un volume <= 16To vers tous les NAS ayant au moins le même nombre de disques que le NAS source mais la migration vers un NAS capable de gérer des volumes supérieurs n'est pas traitée. Or, un groupe construit sur un NAS en volume 16To max ne peut pas gérer des volumes plus gros même si on le migre vers un NAS plus performant. C'est ce qu'il vous arrive. Et si vous migrer d'un modèle de base en ext4 vers un modèle en btrfs, vous ne pourrez pas non plus bénéficier des applications qui nécessitent ce format pour pouvoir fonctionner. Et Synology ne dit rien à ce sujet dans sa kb sur la migration des disques. Enfin, la taille de la partition système qui a changée à partir de DSM7.1 n'est absolument pas abordée. Or, une migration ne permet pas d'étendre la taille de cette partition qui reste à 2.2To. Si ça peut fonctionner encore un temps, il n'est pas dit que les prochaines versions de DSM ne demandent pas plus d'espace, d'où l'importance de repartir de 0 avec réinstallation complète de DSM pour bénéficier d'une partition à 7.9 To sans avoir à devoir le faire plus tard. En règle générale, si les NAS et/ou les versions de DSM sont trop différents, la migration des disques est à éviter. Il est préférable de passer par Hyperbackup pour faire la sauvegarde/restauration des données.

Tous les disques ne se valent pas en terme de bruit. Les 7200 sont plus bruyants que des 5400 et les entreprises de seagate ne brillent pas par leur silence. Si en plus vos disques sont sollicités en permanence, il ne faut pas s'attendre à pouvoir dormir la tête tout près du NAS. Vous pouvez tenter de mettre un matelas anti-vibration entre le NAS et son support histoire de filtrer les vibrations. Si le support est un meuble en bois, les vibrations sont amplifiées par ce dernier. Vous pouvez par exemple acheter en GSB un tapis anti-vibration pour machine à laver que vous découpez aux dimensions du NAS. C'est très efficace. Ceci dit, le bruit n'altère pas le fonctionnement du NAS.

Bonjour ! Je me permets de vous solliciter pour une petite question. J'ai des NAS depuis des années. Pendant longtemps j'ai eu un DS 212 avec 2 disques WD Green (en 5400 rpm), tout allait bien, pas trop de bruit en dehors des périodes de fortes écritures/lectures bien sur. Il y a quelques mois j'ai fait un combo de changement en passant sur une version plus récente, un DS 218 play et 2 disques plus gros. Sauf que ces deux disques sont des Seagate Enterprise en 7200 rpm. Depuis, je me rends compte que le NAS fait constamment, toutes les secondes globalement, un mini bruit de tête de lecture, c'est léger mais constant. Ma question c'est : Est-ce que ça vient du fait que ça soit ces modèles de disques spécifiquement ? Du fait que ça soit des 7200 rpm vs 5400 avant ? Ou bien un réglage du NAS que j'aurai mal fait à l'installation ? (En sachant qu'il n'y a pas vraiment d'hibernation parce qu'il y a la Download Station qui est toujours allumée, mais avant, dans mon système précédent, c'était pareil et j'avais pas l'hibernation d'activée dans mon souvenir) Merci !
